We Need You!
In 2015 the Children’s Medical Research Institute will host its inaugural K’s for Kids event to raise much needed funds to support the work we do in advancing the treatment and prevention of childhood diseases.
This family friendly event will be held on Sunday 13th September, 2015 at Parramatta Park, Western Sydney.
We are asking people to support CMRI by registering to K’s for Kids and challenge themselves by participating in a 30km walk (or 10km family friendly version). Our walkers will be encouraged to raise funds by asking for donations from friends and family for taking on the challenge.
Throughout the day of the event, registered participants and visitors will be invited to join in the fun and festivities at the Discovery Hub which will continue into the late afternoon.
We are calling on skilled individuals who would like to volunteer their time to be on the planning committee. The committee will be assisting CMRI with organising all elements of the event such as media and promotion, event logistics, catering, equipment, entertainment, event volunteers, and venue management. With the assistance of dedicated and passionate volunteers we believe K’s for Kids will be a huge success.

Our vision is for a brighter future for our children, so let’s count our K’s for Kids and walk to beat childhood disease!
